This position will require relocation to Amsterdam. Your relocation will be fully supported as will any visa requirements.

A global FinTech is hiring for a Lead Security Operations Engineer to revamp their security operations capability. You will report into the CISO and lead 2 security engineers.

You will be leading the strategy and vision for building their future SecOps capability. You will assess where they currently are and identify gaps, then create the roadmap for upgrading/rebuilding the function.

This is a very high impact role, with lots of autonomy over how this is executed. They need someone who is both a builder and a leader.

Who can lead detection engineering, build detection & response pipelines, has experience with Cloud monitoring & logging solutions and security automation.

Someone from another fintech or strong tech firm will be very interesting to them. If you can demonstrate deep experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Cloud Security, Container Security, Python and a passion for technical leadership, you will perform very well.

The business is a trading firm, with security fully-integrated in its core values. You will have full support from the CISO and board to execute your vision and access to a very strong training budget.

The budget for this role is from €100k - €150k per year, plus bonus.

This role will be onsite for the first 6-months, then moving to a hybrid model of working following this.
