Overview

Newly created role, reporting to the Global Head of Technology during a period of technology modernisation and transformation. The role will lead a talented team of Solutions Architects and Data Architects. This is a player-coach position focused on implementing standards and supporting team development. Pragmatic and practical, with a focus on value add. Location: Remote, UK Based. Salary: Six-figure package + bonus. Employment type: Full-time, Permanent.

What You’ll Do

• Coach and mentor a growing Architecture team (Solutions Architects and Data Architects)
• Ensure the organisation advances technologically with the right guardrails
• Define and implement standards, templates and frameworks
• Utilise modelling experience to coach and support the team
• Collaborate with global business sponsors and stakeholders

This is a cross-functional, international role where you’ll work closely with business users, technology teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Solutions Architecture background focused on Applications (not Infrastructure)
• Experience in leading, supporting and coaching Solutions and Data Architects (bonus if you have line managed a small team of Architects)
• Player/coach style – practical and embedded with the teams
• Experience within Retail / Manufacturing / Logistics or similar physical goods businesses
• Experience working on ERP / WMS implementations
