Lead UX/UI Designer
Location: London
Job Description
Lead UX/UI Designer – £80k + Stock Options | Hybrid (UK) | Own the Design Vision of a VC-Backed SaaS Disruptor
Let’s be honest, some industries out there aren’t that sexy!
But designing a platform that’s dragging a multi-trillion dollar industry out of the dark ages? That’s exciting.
Here you’ll be joining a VC-backed start up; an organisation designing a SaaS platform to really shake everything up through analytics. They closed their Series-A late last year and have already signed up some of the worlds largest companies as clients – they’ve proved what they do works!!
So what’s your role? Well you aren’t there to decorate. We want the new Lead UX/UI Designer to take full ownership of the design function – from foundational UX & visual systems to high quality frontend execution; a strategic role where your voice will shape not just our product—but how the company thinks about product.
In your first 6 months, you’ll:
- Audit and rebuild the design system
- Lead the UX and UI of their platform with clean, clear, and future-proof decisions
- Collaborate closely with our Head of Product, CTO, CCO, and Head of Client Success Team to ensure design is proactive at every level
From month 6 onwards, your focus will shift to:
- Strategic product thinking, looking across the roadmap to make decisions that last
- Leadership and mentoring, helping guide our Mid-level contractor & future design hires
- Acting as the design voice at the table with senior stakeholders
This is a job where you have an opportunity to really leave a legacy. You’ll build relationships at all levels with some incredible founders and really pave the way for the rest of your career.
Ideally your Cv reads things like Figma, HTML/CSS/Javascript (don’t have to write the code but bridge the gap!) on top of Product thinking & people leadership/management. Bonus points if it includes a start-up so you understand the fast-paced environments in places like this.
If that’s the case, we’d love for you to apply! This position pays £80,000, comes with stock options and lets you work remotely. Ready to leave a legacy and transform something archaic? This is your chance.
