Are you a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive, friendly environment? We have a unique opportunity for a Lead Vet to join us at Sussex Coast Vets and 1066 where you'll be supported by our experienced Practice Manager. We have a company car to travel across sites. You will ideally work across 2 sites (1066 and Sussex Coast); however we are flexible and you can be based at one if preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: up to £80,000 DOE

Welcome Bonus: up to £5,000

Relocation Allowance: up to £8,000

Accommodation: Fully furnished 1 bedroom flat available

Location — East Sussex, United Kingdom (with sites in Hastings, Bexhill, and surrounding areas)

Role and Responsibilities

Senior role: Lead Veterinarian responsible for clinical leadership across Sussex Coast Vets and 1066, working with a skilled team of vets, nurses, and support staff. You will be supported by a Practice Manager and, where applicable, travel between sites. Maintain high standards of clinical care and client service; contribute to a collaborative team approach; participate in charity collaborations and the RSPCA Neutering Scheme for cats and bull-breeds.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with current registration
  • Experience at a senior level or leadership role preferred
  • Certificate in Orthopaedics or other relevant specialism is beneficial
