Lecturer in Accounting and Finance

MicroTech Consulting is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Accounting and Finance to join our Business and Community Education Faculty.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of levels and finance subjects, using creative and inclusive approaches that meet the needs of diverse learners. You will be responsible for planning and organising courses, assessing student progress, and supporting learners through tutorials and individual learning plans. You will contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and improvement strategies, working closely with the Programme Coordinator and Faculty Head. You will also play an active role in student recruitment, marketing, and employer engagement, while promoting safeguarding, equality, and British values throughout your work.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree or vocational qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Hold a Level 7 professional accounting qualification.
  • Have experience in teaching and a commitment to student-centred learning, with strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
