Description
The Legal Contracts Manager position will involve the following tasks:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including supplier agreements, service contracts, confidentiality agreements, and terms of sale
- Work closely with the bids and tenders team to draft and review proposals
- Provide legal support got IP, licensing and warranty terms
- Provide legal advice and guidance on contractual terms and conditions to internal stakeholders
- Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations within different jurisdictions
- Maintain and update the contract management system for accurate record-keeping and accessibility
- Support the legal department with risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to contractual obligations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contractual terms with organisational objectives
Profile
A successful candidate for the Legal Contracts Manager should have:
- A strong educational background in law or a related field
- Proven experience managing and negotiating contracts
- Experience of working in the life science or bio-medical industry would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to the role
- Fluency in another European language would be an advantage but not essential
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Proficiency in using contract management systems and legal software
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration
Job Offer
This is an interim role for approximately 6 weeks, but with the opportunity to extend.
This role can be based remotely full time with equipment provided.
Flexibility on working hours is also available.
