Overview

Legal Counsel - Private Equity - Based in Malta. This Corporate Lawyer position will form part of a newly created team within a reputable and large Private Equity house operating on a global scale. Different than a traditional private equity firm, this company focuses on operational improvement, offering exposure to English/UK corporate law for a UK/English corporate law specialist or corporate transactional lawyer based in Malta.

Responsibilities

• Advise on transactional and non-transactional matters related to corporate law, debt and equity financing
• Draft, review and negotiate contractual agreements and contracts
• Manage ongoing corporate governance matters
• Support the team on larger projects and complex cross-border transactions

Experience / Qualifications

• Law Degree from UK desired; no need to be a qualified solicitor
• 1-4 years PQE, preferably from a corporate advisory practice
• Excellent communication skills in English

Salary / Remuneration

EUR 50,000 – 60,000 DOE
