OneAdvanced is looking for a capable, motivated Legal Counsel to join our dynamic Legal Commercial Team. In this key role, you’ll support the business in achieving its growth ambitions across the UK and Ireland, providing practical, commercially focused legal guidance that helps drive strategic decision making.
Reporting into our Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to negotiate contracts, manage legal risk, and ensure we continue to operate with high legal and ethical standards. This is a hybrid role, with ideally one day per week in our Birmingham Mailbox office.

Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Contracting Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements for a leading SaaS provider, including MSAs, bespoke customer contracts, supplier and partner agreements, licensing terms, RFP responses, escrow agreements, call‑offs, and data processing agreements.
Deal Support Partner with Sales and GTM teams to support negotiations and help close customer agreements.
Privacy & Data Protection Advise on privacy and data protection considerations, reviewing DPAs and escalating issues where required to our Privacy, AI & Cyber specialists.
Strategic Business Support Get involved in wider commercial and strategic initiatives across the business, from partner and supplier agreements to AI‑related legal considerations, potential M&A activity, and cross‑functional commercial projects.
What You Will Have
Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 3+ years PQE, ideally gained in‑house or in a reputable law firm
Strong background drafting, negotiating and advising on technology and SaaS commercial contracts
Good understanding of UK GDPR and data protection obligations
Ability to manage multiple deadlines a fast‑paced environment
Commercial mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
