Cohesity is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, with offices around the globe. We are seeking an ambitious Legal Process Analyst to join our growing global Transaction Legal Support Team. This role combines strategic legal infrastructure management with hands-on operational support to ensure our commercial legal processes operate efficiently day-to-day.
You will interface directly with legal professionals and contract specialists to maintain and optimize core operational frameworks, including technology systems, procedural documentation, operational playbooks, and template libraries. Responsibilities encompass infrastructure management, data analytics generation, presentation development, and comprehensive CLM system administration. Qualified candidates will demonstrate proficiency in legal document analysis and knowledge of legal department processes. This role requires strong stakeholder coordination, efficient resource management, analytical problem-solving, and consistent operational support delivery.
Responsibilities
- CLM System Administration - Provide comprehensive Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system administration and support
- Contract Process Management - Streamline contract processes and ensure compliance across all commercial legal operations
- Process Document Drafting – Demonstrated experience in writing simplistic to detailed process documents
- Project Coordination - Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure efficient resource management and operational alignment in departmental projects
- Legal Infrastructure Maintenance - Systematically maintain and optimize core operational frameworks, including technology systems, procedural documentation, operational playbooks, and template libraries
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with legal professionals, contract specialists, and cross-functional teams to support broader legal department objectives
- Data Analytics & Reporting - Generate data analytics and develop presentations to support decision-making and operational insights
- Legal Document Analysis - Analyze legal documents and apply thorough knowledge of legal department processes. Some light drafting, review, and redlining may be required
- Operational Support - Deliver consistent day-to-day operational support to ensure commercial legal processes run efficiently
- Problem-Solving & Optimization - Apply analytical problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational challenges while continuously improving processes
Qualifications
- We are extra excited if you have any of the following:
- Legal Background - Bachelor0s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field or demonstrated commensurate experience
- Contract Management Experience - Minimum 3-5 years in contract management, or similar role within a legal department
- CLM System Proficiency - Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and legal technology platforms
- Legal Document Analysis Skills - Ability to review, analyze, and process legal documents with attention to detail and accuracy
- Process Management Expertise - Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing operational procedures, documentation, and workflow processes
- Data Analytics Capabilities - Proficiency in data analysis tools and ability to generate reports, presentations, and actionable insights
- Technical Proficiency - Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with legal department management systems
- Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for effective stakeholder coordination and cross-functional collaboration
- Organizational Skills - Strong project management and multitasking abilities with proven track record of managing competing priorities
- Problem-Solving Acumen - Analytical mindset with ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions
- Compliance Knowledge - Understanding of legal compliance requirements and risk management principles
- Technology Adaptability - Comfort working in fast-paced technology environments with ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
