Simpson Judge Legal are proud to be working with a well-established and rapidly expanding law firm based in central Manchester, who are now looking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded solicitor to join a forward-thinking firm that specialises in high-volume, consumer-focused litigation. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering expert legal services with a personal touch and is experiencing consistent growth across its litigation offering.

Role

As a Litigation Solicitor, you’ll handle a varied and dynamic caseload of consumer and financial disputes. You’ll work closely with a supportive team of fee earners and senior solicitors, gaining exposure to a wide range of complex and rewarding matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse caseload of consumer rights and financial mis-selling claims.
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other key litigation documents.
  • Advising clients throughout the litigation process, ensuring the highest standard of service.
  • Negotiating settlements and engaging in ADR where appropriate.
  • Conducting case analysis and preparing matters for trial where necessary.
  • Supporting the development of junior team members as the department continues to grow.

About You

The successful candidate will be an ambitious and confident litigator with strong technical skills and a commercial mindset.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience managing a caseload from instruction through to settlement or trial.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and client care abilities.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in consumer rights litigation.
