Locum Childcare Legal Officer – 3 months + – Predominantly Remote Working – Full Time – Up to £40 per hour – East Midlands

Position: Locum Childcare Legal Officer

Organisation: EastMidlands based Local Authority

Duration: 3 months +with the possibility of extension thereafter

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, (ideally once a week office attendance)

Hourly Rate: Up to £40 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have experience handling childcare matters, including providing support with PLO/pre-proceedings and managing such cases.

Duties may include:

• Managing a caseload of Childcare cases to include PLO matter, pre-proceedings, s37s and Deprivation of Liberty applications
• Support Lawyers across the Childcare team
• Provide specialist Childcare services and policy advice with an emphasis on the conduct of Public Law Litigation for the protection of children
