Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – Up to £60 per hour umbrella – Remote Working – Initial 6+ months

Venn Group’s specialist legal team is currently working with a well-regarded University to recruit an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join the team on a locum basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a friendly legal team.

The Role:

Position: Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Duration: Initial 6+ months with the possibility for extension

Location: Remote working – occasional office attendance in the South East is desirable

Hours: Full Time, or 3-4 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and advise a variety of Commercial Contracts, including advising on procurement matters when needed
• Support on Data Protection and FOIA related matters
• Ensure legal compliance with relevant legislations

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a strong background in Commercial Contracts
• Previous Higher Education or Public Sector experience is essential
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
