Locum Solicitor – Conveyancing and/or Private Client

Location: Shanklin - Isle of Wight (or remote/hybrid options considered)

Contract: Temporary – Holiday Cover

Jerome and Co Solicitors is seeking a skilled and reliable Locum Solicitor to provide cover during staff holidays. We are a well-established firm with a strong reputation in Conveyancing and Private Client work, offering a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential and/or commercial conveyancing files from instruction to completion
• Handle private client matters including wills, probate, and powers of attorney
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards
• Provide high-quality service to clients during the cover period

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in conveyancing and/or private client work
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Availability for short-term assignments (holiday cover)
