The role: London Market Motor Broker
We are seeking an experienced London Market Motor Broker with a strong background in corporate or commercial insurance, with expertise in Motor/Fleet Broking. This role is ideal for someone who has previously worked in a broker capacity and is looking to join a well-established, market-leading insurance broker with great progression opportunities.
What you will rely on
- Assesses risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to help develop placement solutions that meet client needs.
- Implements the placement strategy to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service.
- Assists in the management of submitting coverage specifications and obtaining quotes from carriers based upon the “assist, advise, and assume” transaction model.
- Improves relationships with carriers, underwriters and client teams to provide cohesive client service.
- Builds and maintains relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
- Offers technical support for complex or high-priority relationships when needed to ensure relationship satisfaction and maintain a mutual internal and external understanding.
- Serves as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answers standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
- Maintains a detailed understanding of changing market conditions and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients.
What you need to have
- Previous experience within a similar role within commercial or corporate insurance focused on Motor/Fleet Broking.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence to advise and negotiate.
- Ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
