About Unitary

Unitary builds AI systems that combine human expertise and intelligent automation to handle complex real‑world tasks — from trust & safety to marketplace operations.

We already analyse millions of images and videos daily, helping businesses scale safely and efficiently. Our mission: create an internet free from harm, where AI makes safe, fair, and transparent decisions.

The Role

We’re hiring a Machine Learning Solutions Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI systems that automate customer workflows.

You’ll work end‑to‑end — understanding client challenges, creating "Virtual Agents" that combine ML and software, and scaling these capabilities across our platform. It’s a hands‑on, product‑facing role with real ownership and impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver Virtual Agents that automate customer processes
  • Build scalable, production‑ready AI solutions across the stack (ML, MLOps, DevOps)
  • Collaborate directly with customers and internal teams to drive adoption
  • Contribute to Unitary’s ML platform and community, shaping our future technology

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Python and Machine Learning Engineering experience
  • Curiosity for agentic AI and automation systems
  • Understanding of deployment (e.g. Kubernetes, CI/CD, MLOps)
  • Problem‑solver who enjoys working directly with customers
  • Collaborative, proactive, and excited by startup pace
  • (Bonus: prior startup or remote‑team experience, LLM familiarity, or infrastructure knowledge such as Terraform or Argo CD.)

Why Unitary

  • Remote‑first team (~20 people across Europe & North America)
  • Flexible hours, competitive pay, equity, and generous leave
  • Annual budgets for professional growth and well‑being
  • 3 off‑sites per year in London or European destinations
