Manager, Ethics & Compliance

As Insulet continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Ethics & Compliance Manager, EMEA to support the Director, Compliance Officer, with the design and implementation of the Ethics and Compliance Programme across the EMEA region. The role involves driving integrity and ethical business conduct, developing and revising compliance policies, procedures, and tools, and maintaining an employee training framework on Ethics and Compliance. This position works cross-functionally to operationalize the Ethics and Compliance Programme.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update policies and procedures related to Ethics and Compliance and interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
- Design and implement a new Ethics and Compliance training framework for all employees, incorporating new modules and learning methods.
- Manage the Distributor Risk Monitoring Programme.
- Ensure Legal & Compliance processes are current and relevant, updating and creating as needed.
- Monitor activities involving Healthcare Professionals and employees.
- Identify potential risks and develop action plans to prevent or mitigate issues, providing advice to avoid recurrence.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Ethics & Compliance Programme using analytics and present findings.
- Collaborate across functions to identify emerging risks and improve processes.
- Perform additional duties to support the growth of Insulet’s Ethics and Compliance Programme.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and experience in Compliance or Legal roles within the Life Sciences industry.
- Experience designing, implementing, and overseeing Ethics and Compliance Programmes.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and industry codes like MedTech Europe’s Code and EFPIA Code.
- Strong commitment to ethics and integrity, with the ability to foster a proactive ethical culture.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions and levels.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Experience using data analytics to support compliance activities and measure training effectiveness.
- Experience evaluating Ethics & Compliance programmes.
- Experience supporting a Learning Management System.
- Fluency in French and/or German is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- This role offers hybrid working with at least three days per week on-site at our London office.
- Occasional travel within Europe/Middle East and other locations is expected.
