Manager, Front End Developer - DE - TC - UKI Join EY as a Manager, Front End Developer – DE – TC – UKI and shape the future of technology in the financial services sector. We are looking for a seasoned professional who can drive digital transformation and lead teams on emerging tech initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Work with the Management team to define the go-to-market Emerging Tech consultancy service and help sell these services to our FS clients. Lead the implementation of Emerging Tech services for our clients by engaging with senior stakeholders and guiding them in adopting Emerging Tech and AI technologies. Provide guidance and input into internal projects that build Emerging Tech assets in terms of architecture and engineering best practices.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Natural technical leader who can explain Emerging Tech to financial services clients, including non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to solve complex technical problems. Experience identifying opportunities and securing new business, including leading proposals and bid teams. Capability to direct a delivery team on all aspects of Emerging Tech and engage with client stakeholders to oversee implementation progress.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in the software engineering industry and/or a Technology Consulting domain. Previous work within financial services. Referenceable experience in leading and delivering large‑scale transformation programmes with significant cost take‑out targets and journey & process improvement through Data and AI‑powered automation. Experience working with CIO, CSO and CDO, unlocking organisational bottlenecks to maintain engagement pace. Experience leading the sales cycle for target clients and transitioning into a delivery lead role. Hands‑on experience with RPA tools (Blue Prism, UIPath, Automation Anywhere) and Auto‑ML platforms (DataRobot, Workfusion, Automation Hero, etc.). Knowledge of NLP, semantic search, and entity classification solutions (e.g., Re‑Infer, IBM Watson, AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with document digitisation solutions (e.g., HyperScience, Kofax, Antworks, PlanetAI) and process mining & visualisation tools (Celonis, Pega Desktop Analytics, ProcessGold). Deep experience in workflow‑based solutions for STP optimisation and human‑in‑loop architecture (Xceptor, Pega, IBM BPM, jBPM, etc.). Knowledge of component‑based & event‑based architecture using messaging technologies such as Kafka. Demonstrated ability in data security, information security and design patterns for failure recovery. Experience managing and owning business cases with clients from ideation to delivery, stabilisation and value realisation. Proven people‑management skills and experience leading teams.
