Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and agile Manager of Instructional Design to lead the design, development, and delivery of dynamic learning solutions for our Customer Care contact center team. This role is essential in enabling our specialists to perform confidently in a fast-changing environment by providing just-in-time, rapidly developed, and continuously refreshed training content. This individual will develop a range of training materials for internal teams, including instructor-led training, e-learnings, job aids, videos, and other learning experiences.

You will partner closely with SMEs, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to create learning experiences that ensure our agents can quickly access the knowledge and tools they need—exactly when they need them. Reporting to the Director of Customer Care Learning & Development, the Manager will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs to support our customer service initiatives.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  1. Execute full development lifecycle of training materials development including needs assessment, design (storyboard creation, scripting, image sourcing, facilitator notes), and final development.
  2. Design and develop modular, easily accessible learning assets including microlearning, videos, job aids, and self-serve knowledge articles to support a dynamic Customer Care environment.
  3. Apply adult learning theory, just-in-time learning best practices, and re-learning principles to ensure specialists can respond to new tools, updates, and policies with speed and confidence.
  4. Create training materials including e-learnings (Articulate Rise & Storyline), instructor-led PowerPoint decks, PDFs, and video scripts.
  5. Partner with SMEs, learning developers, and stakeholders to build job-relevant, cohesive, and comprehensive educational experiences that scale with changing content, systems, and product updates.
  6. Continuously improve and iterate on content based on feedback, analytics, and business changes.
  7. Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical, Marketing, and Product to align learning solutions with broader company initiatives and branding.
  8. Leverage data, evaluation methods, and feedback to evaluate learning effectiveness and drive content enhancements.

Position is remotely based but requires occasional travel for department meetings and to the home office in Manchester, NH.
