Role Summary

We’re seeking a Managing Director / Founding Growth Lead to own customer acquisition, performance marketing, funnels, pricing, and partnerships. Think: hands-on doer + strategic owner. You’ll build the go-to-market engine and scale it.

Location: Remote (UK/EU friendly).

Commitment: Part-time to start (c. 10–20 hrs/week), with option to scale to full-time as revenue grows.

Compensation: Equity and/or Revenue Share (no base salary to start). Flexible structures below.

What you\'ll own

  • Go-to-market design and execution across B2C and B2B2C.
  • Funnel building in Kajabi (landing pages, offers, checkout, upsells, automations, A/B tests).
  • Email & CRM: lead magnets, nurture, onboarding, lifecycle, referral/affiliate.
  • Pricing & offers: bundles, trials, scholarships, seasonal promos.

What success looks like (first 6 months)

We want to make this simple and tangible:

  • Build a steady stream of leads: At least 5,000 people signing up to our email list or free resources.
  • Convert those leads into paying customers: Around 200 people buying the Essential course and at least 40 people buying the Premium package.
  • Make marketing efficient: For every pound spent on ads, we want to earn it back within the first few months through course sales. (We work with a specialist on paid campaigns)
  • Test B2B2C partnerships: Secure at least 5 schools, youth programmes, or academies to pilot the course with groups of 25–200 students.
  • Set up proper systems: Clear dashboards and tracking, so we know which campaigns are working and can repeat what’s successful.

Compensation and remuneration

Because pay is equity/revenue-share based, your income grows directly with results:

  • Hitting these 6-month goals would likely mean £50k–£100k gross revenue in the business.
  • Depending on the option chosen (equity %, rev-share %, or hybrid), you could expect £7.5k–£25k+ personal income in that period, plus ownership in the company if equity is included.
  • If you unlock the higher milestone (e.g., £20k monthly recurring revenue), your equity stake or revenue-share percentage increases, meaning your upside compounds as we scale.
  • Scale = growth in sales within the UK, growth of markets (geographically) and potentially scale in our offering and products.

Must-Have Experience

  • 3–7+ years in growth/performance marketing (preferably for digital products or online courses).
  • Proven ability to build Kajabi (or equivalent) funnels end-to-end, including copy, creative direction, and automation.
  • Familiar with paid activity through Meta & Google Ads.
  • Email/lifecycle: building high-converting sequences and optimizing deliverability.
  • Data-driven: desirable to model CAC/LTV, run A/B tests, and communicate insights.
  • Entrepreneurial: comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and equity/rev-share comp.

Nice to have

Education/EdTech experience; youth audience marketing; partnerships/BD; community and creator marketing.

Compensation Options

No base salary initially; we’ll agree milestones and revisit cash as revenue grows. All equity subject to standard vesting; all revenue-share subject to a written addendum defining “Net Revenue.”

  • Equity: 15–25% ordinary shares or options, 4-year vesting, 1-year cliff, then monthly.
  • Milestone kicker: +2–5% additional equity upon hitting agreed revenue milestones (e.g., £20k monthly gross revenue for 3 consecutive months).
  • Performance bonus: Discretionary options on exceptional growth or strategic partnerships.

Option B — Hybrid (Equity + Revenue Share)

  • Equity: 8–15% with 3-year vesting, 6-month cliff.
  • Revenue Share: 15–25% of Net Revenue attributable to campaigns/partners you manage, paid monthly for 12 months per customer (evergreen rev-share for the first year of each customer’s lifetime).
  • Net Revenue definition: Gross receipts minus payment processing/platform fees and direct attributable ad spend for that acquisition channel.

Option C — Revenue Share Only (Contractor to Start)

  • Revenue Share: 20–30% of Net Revenue on all sales you source/manage for the first 12 months of each customer; no equity initially.
  • Equity kicker: 5–8% added if pre-agreed milestones met within 6 months (e.g., 250+ paid customers and CAC payback ≤ 30 days).
