Purpose of the role
The role of Marketing Automation Specialist is a key role, responsible for actively implementing and maintaining automated end‑to‑end workflows within the Marketing Operations team. This position requires strong logic and understanding of process flows, automation and CRM integrations, namely Salesforce, of which there are currently 3 separate instances being managed. The role involves frequent interaction with Sales and Marketing to ensure we are accurately and efficiently targeting regional customers, whilst remaining aligned on business goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end‑to‑end automation flows to improve marketing efficiency and reach, increasing results whilst reducing manual effort.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment around business goals and objectives.
- Create and test landing pages, forms, CTAs, etc. to increase conversion.
- Monitor campaign performance.
- Configure, maintain and manage reporting dashboards, leveraging AI to maximise efficiency.
- Introduce and manage marketing automation tools into the workflow ensuring alignment with the organisations multiple CRMs.
- A/B testing and performance analysis to improve and refine campaigns.
- Remain current with automation trends, tools and industry best practices.
- Compliance with GDPR and data privacy governance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance regional marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Knowledge, and experience of Salesforce, Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (minimum 3 years).
