Marketing Director – Flagship Tech Event

We’re proud to be partnering with a global events business to find a Marketing Director for one of the UK’s most influential and fastest-growing technology festivals. This high-profile event brings together global leaders, innovators, investors, and policymakers to celebrate the power of technology to drive progress. It’s a key platform for the UK tech community and a hub for new ideas, partnerships, and growth.

As Marketing Director, you’ll define and deliver the strategy that drives audience engagement and commercial success for the event. You’ll lead a talented marketing team, develop high-impact campaigns, and collaborate across content, sales, and partnerships to strengthen the brand’s position globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the flagship tech event and wider founders portfolio
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals
  • Own the data and analytics strategy, improving insight, performance, and integration across platforms
  • Deliver innovative, customer‑first digital marketing campaigns that maximise reach and ROI
  • Build and manage strategic partnership marketing plans
  • Oversee creative development and ensure all collateral reflects brand values and quality standards
  • Define and track KPIs to measure campaign success and inform future planning
  • Manage budgets, resources, and project timelines effectively

About You

  • Proven experience leading marketing within large‑scale B2B events or exhibitions
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and creative abilities
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and audience growth strategies
  • A passion for technology and innovation
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
