We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex building services projects, with a strong focus on data centres and heavy industrial facilities.
About The Role
You will be responsible for managing and delivering mechanical engineering design solutions across multiple project stages - from concept design to commissioning. This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong engineer who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Key Responsibilities For a Mechanical Engineers
- Deliver and review high-quality mechanical design packages ensuring compliance with project and industry standards.
- Oversee mechanical aspects of procurement and installation design, including preparation of technical specifications and coordination with suppliers and contractors.
- Collaborate with Engineering Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet cost, programme, and performance targets across all phases of project delivery.
- Provide on-site support and problem-solving expertise while ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification/experience through an apprenticeship route)
- Experience in mechanical building services design, ideally within data centres or critical infrastructure projects
- Full UK driving licence
