The Opportunity:
As a Medical Affairs Operations Lead, you will oversee operational and project management activities for Astellas pipeline assets and business development projects, working with the Medical Affairs Lead to execute strategies effectively. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining office presence in Addlestone with remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational and project management efforts within the Global Medical Affairs NPP team.
- Collaborate with NPP leads to develop and execute medical strategies across various disease areas.
- Monitor and report on project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
- Contribute to business development and operational process improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Research, Development, Commercial NPP, and Market Access to ensure timely implementation of activities.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality, compliant deliverables.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Deep understanding of global drug development and product lifecycle management.
- Strong project management, operations, and business analysis skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Proactive mindset focused on innovation.
- Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- PMP qualification.
- Additional pharmaceutical industry experience.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
Additional Information:
- Permanent, full-time position based in the UK.
- Hybrid working model with at least 1 day per quarter in the Addlestone office.
- Up to 30% travel may be required.
