We have an exciting opportunity for a pro-active, enthusiastic and motivated individual who will provide high quality administrative support for the provision of an effective, integrated and comprehensive recruitment and advisory service to join our medical staffing team.
Medical Staffing Team provide a professional and confidential HR service to all doctors in the Trust, supporting recruitment, Junior Doctors' rotations, Medical Revalidation, appraisal and Job planning.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about developing a career within the team. The post holder will need to be highly organised with close attention to detail, have good administrative skills and have experience of working in a busy office, often to tight deadlines.
Applicants should have experience of office procedures with minimal supervision and demonstrate ability to prioritise work tasks with good communication and interpersonal skills. The role may require some travel to various Trust sites and potential candidates should also really enjoy being sociable and meeting new people.
The Team are hybrid working and the post will require some office based working at Mount Vernon site, working patterns can be considered.

Responsibilities
- To work with the Medical Staffing Manager to ensure the provision of a comprehensive and customer focussed medical staffing service to the Trust.
- Develop excellent working relationships with Line Managers by providing advice and support on recruitment and selection processes, terms and conditions of employment (e.g. leave entitlements, starting salaries), policies (e.g. recruitment and selection policy) and Registration Authority matters.
- To raise and discuss issues with the Medical Staffing Manager and Head of Medical Workforce to ensure consistency and best practice across the Trust.
- To promote a professional image of the Trust at Corporate Induction and recruitment open days for directorate as required, planning recruitment campaigns where necessary.
- To represent the People & Development Directorate at meetings on specific issues in relation to the role.
- To take individual responsibility for ensuring the maintenance of communication with people and development colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Highly organised with close attention to detail and strong administrative skills.
- Experience of working in a busy office, often to tight deadlines.
- Experience of office procedures with minimal supervision and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to various Trust sites and prefer working in a sociable, engaging environment.
About the Trust
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
