The role suits a medical writer who enjoys hands-on writing, working in a collaborative team. You will have support from an established leadership team for growth and development, with no pressure to involve in sales or business development. The role offers good visibility in a mid-sized company and the chance to work on global projects.

Much of the company's work is repeat business and organic growth, with HEOR publications and manuscripts being key deliverables.

Role scope:

• Draft, revise, and finalize scientific materials, including abstracts for conferences, scientific posters, slide decks, tables, figures, and data visualizations.
• Articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Evaluate and interpret source documents, develop appropriate tables and figures.
• Provide copy editing, proofreading, and quality control reviews.
• Collaborate with internal researchers and client teams to ensure scientific accuracy.
• Participate remotely in client meetings as needed.
• Incorporate reviewer comments to improve documents.
• Address conflicting comments from authors and reviewers.
• Conduct online literature searches and summarize findings.
• Coordinate journal and abstract submissions adhering to guidelines.
• Contribute to internal thought leadership projects.

Qualifications:

• MSc or higher degree in life sciences, public health, or health economics.
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, as a professional or student.
• Attention to detail, clarity, and scientific accuracy.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience writing for pharma, public health, RWE, epidemiology, or HEOR preferred.
