Account Director @ Hanson Lee Resourcing Ltd | Recruiting for the Global Insurance Markets

We partnered with a global Consultancy recruiting an experienced Consultant with a strong background in the Insurance sector and hands‑on experience in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to support clients through strategic integration and transformation programmes, particularly following mergers or acquisitions.

You will play a key role in guiding insurance clients through complex change — assessing integration readiness, developing roadmaps, aligning senior stakeholders, and ensuring smooth operational harmonisation. This is an opportunity to work with leading insurers and financial institutions, leveraging the company's expertise in data, AI, and digital transformation to deliver measurable impact.

Base Pay Range

Up to £90,000 base salary plus bonus & benefits. Hybrid working model, 2‑3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support post‑merger integration and transformation workstreams for insurance clients
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess integration readiness and create detailed implementation plans
• Conduct gap and synergy analyses across key business functions (underwriting, claims, finance, operations, risk, compliance)
• Advise clients on target operating models, governance frameworks, and cultural alignment strategies post‑acquisition
• Partner with C‑suite executives to facilitate workshops, define integration objectives, and drive execution
• Monitor progress and risks, and provide clear reporting on milestones, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Support change management and communication initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and systems
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership
