Principality Building Society is embarking on a period of significant cultural transformation to simplify our business and create capacity for purposeful growth. As an Operational Resource Planner, your primary focus will be to produce and automate high-quality management information and business intelligence using Power BI and other tools, enabling data-driven decision-making across a variety of departments.

What you will do:

  • Business Partner Operational Teams to understand key M.I. requirements, simplifying the production where appropriate.
  • Clear understanding of demand and resource requirements in key operational areas.
  • Proactively develop capability to continuously monitor the current operational demand of the business. Developing reporting as required for a variety of stakeholders, meetings and committees.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of monthly performance across the group.
  • Identify opportunities to improve resource optimisation, ensuring our people resources are managed more efficiently
  • Contribute to the forecasting process of all operational demand types
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement change

What we are looking for:

  • Strong experience in M.I production, automation and workforce planning solutions
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data & make sound decisions
  • Experience of using workforce management software and tools to forecast call volumes & create schedules
  • Good communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels and work collaboratively in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data techniques
  • Strong diligence and accuracy, with the ability to analyse data and identify patterns & trends
