Motion Designer – Freelance (Hybrid / Long-Term Contract)

Location: Warwickshire (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week) must be local + drive

Contract Length: Start ASAP until March 2026

We’re hiring a Motion Designer to join a global automotive brand’s in-house creative team on a long-term freelance contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape high-quality brand motion across digital platforms and in-vehicle experiences translating static visuals into engaging animation, interaction and motion graphics that elevate the overall design language.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating with designers to convert static content into dynamic brand motion
• Creating transitions, animations, and micro-interactions for UI / Human Interaction platforms
• Supporting real-time rendering and production workflows
• Ensuring brand consistency across multiple digital touchpoints
• Working with stakeholders across disciplines and time zones

Essential Skills (Must Be Shown on CV):

• Proven experience in agency or in-house creative environments
• Strong 2D and 3D motion design ability
• Expert in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate
• Experience in Cinema4D, Blender, or Houdini
• Understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, interaction)
• Familiarity with rendering processes (Unreal Engine is a plus)
• Able to collaborate with global stakeholders in fast-paced environments
• A freelance Motion Designer looking for long-term contract stability
• Transitioning into freelance after a perm role or redundancy
• Looking for a secure project through the winter and into spring 2026
