Overview
Areti Group has exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing startup seeking 8 Software Engineers to start ASAP. These roles are fully remote. This business has grown by 75% this year and plans to hire 30 more between now and February. The role requires SC/DV clearance and candidates must hold a valid British passport and have worked in the UK for the last 5 years.
Responsibilities
- ETL Pipeline Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable ETL pipelines to support the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources; optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- AWS Data Solutions: Utilize AWS services for data storage, processing, and analytics; leverage S3, Glue, Redshift, and related technologies to build and maintain data solutions; implement security and compliance best practices in an AWS environment.
- Python Data Processing: Demonstrate proficiency in Python for data processing and manipulation; develop custom scripts and applications as needed to enhance ETL processes.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Provide technical expertise and support to major customers at the early stages of projects; tailor ETL solutions to meet project requirements.
Documentation and Best Practices
- Document ETL processes, data models, and system architecture.
- Adhere to best practices for code versioning, testing, and deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in AWS data-related services.
- Advanced Python programming skills for data processing and automation.
- Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing.
- Experience supporting major customers at early stages of projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with data modeling and database design.
- AWS certification(s) related to data and analytics.
Requirements
- Valid British passport and UK work history for the last 5 years.
