The Advocate Group is partnering with a Leading Wine Business, on the hunt for a National Account Manager to support the Impulse Lead on delivering long term business plans for a portfolio of accounts and customers.
The company are on a solid growth trajectory and are renowned in the industry for their diverse, premium portfolio and instantly recognisable brands that have won a plethora of awards.
In addition to this, they’re a registered B Corp and always put people > profit!
This is a great opportunity for an NAE or Junior NAM to embark on the next steps of their FMCG career with an inclusive, supportive business.
Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with the existing sales team to achieve key business objectives
- Develop key business relationships with stakeholders across your designated accounts
- Managing a P&L and ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
- Conducting sales / financial analysis and implementing changes to help improvement
- Be a brand advocate and positively promote the business at all opportunities including wine tastings, events and roadshows.
- Collaborating cross functionally with Marketing to ensure relevant promotional initiatives are being communicated to clients
Their next hire:
- Must have FMCG account experience – ideally in drinks
- A proactive and engaging individual, able to build strong relationships at all levels
- Highly numerate and confident with Excel, Forecasting and Margins
- Strong influential and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate resilience and able to work independently whilst remote
