We are looking for a National Account Manager to provide an effective account management resource for specific customers within the rental customer portfolio of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily provision of services to customers by managing the appropriate BCA resources
Work with the Head of Rental Sales and relevant BCA resource, to assist in bringing leading edge thinking and best practice to add value to the client and develop the account
Continuously work to increase the efficiency of BCA and its provided services, influencing internal resources, across the BCA divisions to ensure best in class service delivery to customers
Manage all volume and margin budgets for the specified accounts to levels that deliver or improve business plan
Lead customer contractual reviews and have regular customer contact, ensuring review meeting output is shared where appropriately internally. Developing a close working relationships with all customer contacts is key
Keep abreast of market conditions and specific industry changes – monitoring competition volume activity and determining remedial action where possible
Regular travel to customer premises/BCA sites throughout the week.
Key Skills
Understanding of the rental industry and the business model
Good level of commercial sales and rental account management experience
Client driven with a proven record of accomplishment in building long-term relationships
Excellent communication and negotiation skills required
Good level of commercial and business awareness at an operational level in all divisions
Ability to recognise potential opportunities, capitalising where able or escalating to appropriate business specialist
Well organised and ability to plan and manage all operational activities for the client.
Proven ability to achieve and deliver results
Ability to analyse data to deliver excellent operational support and outcomes for the client.
Good PC skills with a sound working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to remain positive/enthusiastic and ‘can do’ focused at all times
Proven record of accomplishment in operating as part of a team to deliver excellent client service, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently
Fluent in business English language - written and verbal
