National Sales Manager

Location of the Job:

Remote role - covering the UK and Ireland.

Salary and Benefits Package:

Paying circa £50,000 basic salary depending on experience.

Plus uncapped commission.

The Job Role Details:

As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy required to achieve revenue and profitability targets in the UK and Ireland.

Your aim will be to drive new business, build customer loyalty, ensure high customer retention rates, implement improvement plans for sales productivity, market penetration, sales turnover, and to achieve targeted product placements.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

• Actively identify and secure business development opportunities and new customer accounts.

• Prepare quotes for customers, reaching out to internal support personnel, as necessary.

• Conduct one-on-one meetings with potential customers through field visits and on-site demonstrations.

• Manage customer sales through the life of the project including follow-up after the sale.

• Work with internal support groups to facilitate an orderly sales process.

• Implement promotional programs with customers in coordination with Marketing.

• Assist with trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.

• Participate in the development of sales goals and objectives for assigned territories, accounts, and product lines.

• Recommend, implement, and comply with company sales methods and procedures to enhance the success of sales activities.

• Ensure potential customer and customer contact information are maintained and updated.

• Communicate and respond to customer inquiries and problems.

• Carry out effective communication with appropriate executives, managers, and stakeholders across the business.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

• Proven experience in the sales of agricultural systems or livestock production equipment.

• Skills in sales, marketing, business administration, and / or livestock agriculture.

• A self-starter and highly motivated to work efficiently in a remote setting.

• The ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

• Foreign language skills - English required; additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, and or Russian is beneficial.

• Experience selling through dealer channels.

• Excellent IT skills.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to deliver presentations in both small group and large group environments.

• Availability to travel extensively within your assigned territory and to the company headquarters when requested.
