National Senior Strategic Sales Manager - Air & Ocean Freight Forwarding

Location: Flexible (UK / Hybrid)

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance, Bonus / Commission

You'll be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for key trade lanes, expanding the company's footprint with mid‑to‑large clients, and delivering sustainable, profitable growth. This is a role for a confident relationship builder who understands how to win complex business through trust, credibility, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans across Air & Ocean freight products.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities with high‑value clients throughout England and the UK.
• Build long‑term relationships with key customers, ensuring consistent service quality and retention.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, and global network partners to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy.
• Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Key Experience

• Proven track record in Air and/or Ocean freight forwarding sales.
• Strong understanding of global trade routes, carrier relationships, and pricing structures.
• Skilled negotiator with experience closing six‑ and seven‑figure deals.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long‑term growth and short‑term targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer value.
