About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract C# Software Developer to join our delivery team on a remote basis, primarily serving UK-based clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects involving the development of scalable, cloud-native solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain backend services, contribute to the architecture of Azure-based systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. The position is initially for six months, with the possibility of extension, and offers a competitive rate outside IR35. The role requires a proactive, autonomous professional who can work in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software development with experience in C#, .NET Core, and front-end frameworks such as React.
• Proven track record of building and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL where applicable.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, Storage).
• Proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
• Understanding of CI/CD, unit testing, and Git version control.
• Certifications or experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform), Docker, and DevOps workflows are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using C# and .NET Core for performance and scalability.
• Build modern, responsive front-end applications with React for seamless user experiences.
• Develop, test, and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to enable service and frontend communications.
• Contribute to the architecture, deployment, and management of Azure-based systems, ensuring security and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI processes to uphold quality standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose improvements.
