About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C# .NET Developer to join our prestigious WealthTech client’s team. This role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid working arrangements, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge financial technology solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing proprietary software used within the organization’s well-established platform. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Microsoft development technologies, with demonstrated expertise in C# and .NET frameworks. A solid understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), design patterns, and best practices is essential. Proficiency in Visual Studio 2022 or later, along with experience developing Web APIs using .NET Core, is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and API documentation tools. Familiarity with IoC containers, web services such as SOAP and WCF, and distributed WinForms systems will be advantageous. Additionally, experience working in an Agile environment, particularly Scrum, and a keen interest in emerging technologies are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a professional approach, and a proactive attitude towards learning and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing Web APIs to support a comprehensive Pensions Administration platform, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Conducting detailed code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, readability, and maintainability.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and external clients, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Managing and supporting both internal and hosted system environments, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
- Developing and refining WCF services, enhancing existing WinForms user interfaces, and integrating new features as required.
- Overseeing the preparation of software releases, including version control, documentation, and deployment processes to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Championing the adoption of innovative technologies within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
