Network Security Engineer (Palo Alto)
Location: Remote (UK-wide)

This is an opportunity to join a next-generation consultancy partnering with some of the world’s largest brands. The company is a fast-growing global start-up led by industry veterans with extensive experience in networking and cybersecurity.
They are seeking a Network Security Engineer who is passionate about building, securing, and scaling complex network environments.
This role goes beyond traditional firewall management — the successful candidate will own the stack, shape security strategy, and work hands-on with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and support enterprise-grade Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls across global environments.
- Build and manage Palo Alto Cloud Infrastructure, including automation, performance tuning, and maintaining a robust security posture.
- Engineer resilient networks using BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, optimising performance and reliability at scale.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues using advanced tools and methodologies to ensure bulletproof networks.
Requirements
- Mandatory certifications: PCCSE / PCNSE (Palo Alto)
- Proven hands‑on experience deploying and managing firewalls in production environments.
- Understanding of routing, switching, and network design fundamentals.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and design skills.
