We're seeking someone to join our Network Security team as an IoT Network Security Engineer in CDRR to support the OT/IOT Project by deploying and operating a new IoT/OT discovery and monitoring solution that meets the business requirements.
Location: Glasgow
As part of the Network Security team you will design, engineer, and operate cyber‑security controls at the network layer to protect the firm from internal and external cyber attacks.
What You'll Do In the Role
Contribute to proof‑of‑concept testing, certification and onboarding of Armis Centrix IoT/OT security solution.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to discuss, review and design the solution and integration.
Create network diagrams and related documentation to propose solutions.
Create new operational procedures/runbooks, as required.
Identify opportunities to develop tools and automation of managed products.
Diagnose and troubleshoot systems, networks, and applications as required.
Collaborate with project managers and members of enterprise networking, enterprise computing, end‑user computing, and/or tech risk organizations.
Provide expert‑level support for junior‑level operation teams on IoT/OT security solution.
Liaise, manage, and govern vendors of IoT/OT security solution to provide world‑class level of services.
On‑call shift is required.
What You'll Bring To The Role
Ability to process information, translate it into plans, and present summaries to stakeholders.
Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.
Hands‑on experience with IoT/OT security solutions (e.g., Armis Centrix, Forescout, Darktrace, Claroty).
Experience with UNIX/Linux administration & containers.
Experience working with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, third‑party vendor APIs).
Familiarity with networking fundamentals (e.g., VLANs, MPLS, BGP, proxying).
Experience deploying observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
Experience with global‑scale network security design and documentation.
Experience with threat detection and mitigation processes for OT/IoT products.
At least 4 years’ relevant experience is generally expected to find the skills required for this role.
