Overview

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded New Business Development Director to join a fast-growing, award-winning digital marketing agency in London. This role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic and innovative business with international reach, working alongside ambitious teams passionate about brand, performance, and technology.

Job Title: New Business Development Director. Location: London (Hybrid – 4 days office, 1 day remote).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities across key sectors.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with decision makers and intermediaries.
  • Lead the pitch process from initial brief through to final negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and sales materials.
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and thought-leadership sessions.
  • Drive outreach campaigns and contribute to marketing initiatives that generate qualified leads.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of SEO, Paid Media, Paid Social, Programmatic, Retail Media and related disciplines to position the agency as a trusted partner.

Qualifications

  • Must have current or recent experience working for a digital marketing agency (applications without this will not be considered).
  • Proven track record in business development, with 7+ years in an agency environment winning and growing client accounts.
  • Able to hold informed, consultative, and strategic conversations with senior stakeholders around SEO, Paid Media, Paid Social, Programmatic, Retail Media and emerging digital channels.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and build trust at senior levels.
  • Strong commercial mindset and experience negotiating contracts and pricing models.
  • Passionate about digital innovation, AI, and the future of performance marketing.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Confident networker with established industry contacts.
