Operations Director - Onshore Wind (Renewable O&M)

Our client is a market-leading provider of Operations & Maintenance services in the Onshore Wind sector. With a strong pipeline of projects and ambitious growth plans, they are seeking an Operations Director to lead the delivery of complex, high-value O&M projects and drive operational excellence across their portfolio.

Role

As Operations Director, you will take full ownership of O&M activities within the onshore renewable sector, with responsibility for the end-to-end management of turbine and blade maintenance operations. This is a senior leadership role where you will be instrumental in shaping strategy, building high-performing teams, and ensuring best-in-class service for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an operational strategy aligned with business goals
  • Lead and inspire teams of technicians and engineers to deliver excellence
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations and SOPs
  • Act as a key client-facing leader, managing and strengthening relationships
  • Oversee project delivery to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement across all operational areas

About You

  • 8+ years' experience leading complex operational teams, ideally within renewable energy
  • Proven track record in onshore wind operations & maintenance
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety compliance
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
