Operations Manager

New Today

The Role

Reporting into the Deputy Project Director at this leading Asset Management business you will help operationally manage two very large PFI hospital contracts in central London. Working closely with the Deputy Project Director and a variety of stakeholders overseeing the delivery of hard FM and commercial elements of the contract. Building relationships with the trust, investors and the FM provider. You will lead a small team working on site typically about 3 days a week with flexibility for the other two days.

The Candidate

You don\'t have to have prior PFI or healthcare experience to be considered in this role as some of the leadership team on the contract came from outside of the industry and have been successful. Prior experience is beneficial but by no means essential. The most important experience you will need is a good understanding of hard FM, the ability to lead a small operational team and the commercial understanding of payment mechanisms in FM. You don\'t have to have worked for an Asset Management company before you could come from an FM provider or client side and even though the contract is focused on hard FM you don\'t need to be an engineer a TFM background will suffice as there is plenty of technical support in the team. You will need to have the ability to build relationships and communicate with a variety of different stakeholders involved with the contract and be adaptable. The ability to travel to central London 3 days a week is essential.
