We are representing one of the world’s leading independent property consultancies in their search for a senior industry leader to head up their European Building Surveying function.

This high-profile position will oversee strategic growth across multiple European territories, with a particular emphasis on the German market. You will be responsible for leading cross-border client relationships, winning and delivering complex, high-value projects, and building a market-leading team.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the European Building Surveying service line, setting strategic direction and driving growth

• Deliver Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and associated advisory services at the highest standard

• Ensure all services are ESG-aligned, embedding sustainability into every project

• Strengthen and expand client relationships across key European markets, with a strong focus on Germany

• Oversee recruitment, development, and performance of a high-performing team

• Collaborate with senior leadership across other service lines and geographies

What we’re looking for:

• Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with extensive senior-level consultancy experience

• Proven track record in Technical Due Diligence for major commercial real estate transactions

• Deep knowledge of the German property market and fluent German language skills

• Strong understanding of ESG principles and their application in building consultancy

• Demonstrable success in leading large teams and securing significant new business

• Ability to operate confidently at Board level
