Partner – Head of European Building Surveying

We are representing one of the world’s leading independent property consultancies in their search for a senior industry leader to head up their European Building Surveying function.
This high-profile position will oversee strategic growth across multiple European territories, with a particular emphasis on the German market. You will be responsible for leading cross-border client relationships, winning and delivering complex, high-value projects, and building a market-leading team.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the European Building Surveying service line, setting strategic direction and driving growth
Deliver Technical Due Diligence (TDD) and associated advisory services at the highest standard
Ensure all services are ESG-aligned, embedding sustainability into every project
Strengthen and expand client relationships across key European markets, with a strong focus on Germany
Oversee recruitment, development, and performance of a high-performing team
Collaborate with senior leadership across other service lines and geographies
What we’re looking for:
Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) with extensive senior-level consultancy experience
Proven track record in Technical Due Diligence for major commercial real estate transactions
Deep knowledge of the German property market and fluent German language skills
Strong understanding of ESG principles and their application in building consultancy
Demonstrable success in leading large teams and securing significant new business
- Ability to operate confidently at Board level
