About the Role
Our Partnerships Team is growing! We're seeking a driven and strategic Partnership Manager to join our team. You'll play a key role in acquiring and managing high-impact partners that enhance payabl.'s capabilities and market reach.
Reporting Line: This role reports directly to the Partnership Lead.
Responsibilities
- Partner Acquisition & Development - Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners including orchestration platforms, ISOs, PSPs, and technology providers.
- Commercial Ownership - Negotiate partnership agreements, manage commercial models (incl. commissions), and ensure profitable collaboration.
- Relationship Management - Build and nurture long-term relationships with partners, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact.
- Integration Oversight - Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure smooth technical integrations that unlock scalable solutions for our clients.
- Sales Enablement - Enable joint go-to-market efforts and support partner education through training sessions and product presentations.
- Market Expansion - Contribute to expanding our global footprint by aligning with regional partners and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Industry Engagement - Represent payabl. at events, conferences, and partner meetings to promote our capabilities and strengthen visibility in the ecosystem.
Qualifications
You're a commercially minded relationship builder—strategic, hands-on, and passionate about partnerships. You thrive in scaling environments and are excited by the opportunity to make a global impact.
- Fintech & Payments Professional - 3+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles within fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services.
- Partnership Pro - You understand the B2B partnership lifecycle—prospecting, onboarding, relationship nurturing, and commercial growth.
- Tech-Aware & Curious - You're confident discussing APIs, integrations, and product roadmaps with both partners and internal teams.
- Strong Negotiator - You're experienced in commercial negotiations and know how to create win-win outcomes.
- Globally Minded - Fluent in English (other languages a plus), with the ability to work cross-culturally and adapt to local market dynamics.
- Self-Starter & Collaborative - You work independently, but know when to bring others on board to drive results.
- Mobility-Ready - Willing to travel for key partner engagements, meetings, and industry events as needed.
