Salary: £29,540 to £ 32,061 per annum (Grade 7) to £ 32,597 to £ 35,412 per annum (Grade 8)

We are looking for a Passenger Transport Planner to join to join The West Sussex Transport Coordination Group, a vital part of the Transport and Network Operations within the Highways, Transport & Planning directorate.

We are looking for someone who has experience in transport planning and/or working within the social care world and understands the support that vulnerable adults and children may need with their transport issues. You'll need to enjoy the variety that this role can bring, in one moment you may be talking to a distressed family member about their child with special educational needs and next moment you could be liaising with a supplier about a future arrangement. You'll need to be able to deal with these competing demands and remain customer focused to deliver a professional service.

A typical week requires a minimum of 2 days attendance to the office, the remainder of the week working from home or one of our satellite offices. This is led by the needs of the service. Final arrangements to be confirmed with the successful candidate.

As a Passenger Transport Planner, you will deliver a professional, customer-focused service, ensuring the provision of pragmatic and resource-efficient passenger transport solutions for a diverse range of customers.
