Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a Payroll Manager to provide sabbatical cover for a 12-month fixed term period, starting in July/August 2025. You’ll be stepping into a key role within our team, managing a diverse and substantial portfolio of payroll and CIS clients.

Location: Francis & Co, Cheltenham

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for your next challenge? We’re seeking a Payroll Manager to provide sabbatical cover for a 12-month fixed term period, starting in July/August 2025. You’ll be stepping into a key role within our team, managing a diverse and substantial portfolio of payroll and CIS clients.

• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of multiple payrolls and pension submissions for a large and varied client base.
• Manage all aspects of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) processing and reporting.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure ongoing compliance with HMRC requirements.
• Work closely with colleagues in finance, tax, and client support teams.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain best-in-class payroll practices.

• Proven experience managing a large portfolio of payroll and CIS clients.
• Proficiency with BrightPay and Xero software is essential.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional attention to detail, confidentiality, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
