As a Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients. You will act as a payroll subject matter expert, applying best practice and providing advice and guidance to clients on payroll matters. This role will be primarily home-based, with team-building and training days held at the Phase3 office in Manchester City Centre on average once a quarter.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full end-to-end payroll process for client payrolls, ensuring that all payrolls are accurate, completed on time, and all statutory submissions are performed within required deadlines
- Conduct client meetings to discuss issues and priorities
- Work well with conflicting priorities and deadlines
- Be proactive and accountable to the highest calibre of professionalism, service and accuracy
- Experience managing high-volume payrolls with 1000+ employees
- Experience of working in a bureau
- Communicative fluency, both verbal and in documentation
- Ability to manage own workload
- Excitement about flexibility, independence, initiative and knowledge-sharing in your job
- Add extra value to your application with experience of more than one of the following: Sage Payroll, Brain, PeopleXD, ResourceLink, Salesforce, BrightPay, SAP, Unit4, BusinessObjects, Cognos, SQL reporting (or legacy equivalents)
