Eden Scott's client, who is the UK's largest pension scheme trustee company, is seeking an experienced Pensions Manager to lead as the primary point of contact for clients, managing delivery through our scheme secretarial and pensions management team. Your role blends governance leadership, project oversight, and business development to support in-house in achieving high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:
The right candidate will be responsible for a broad range of tasks and services

Be the day-to-day liaison with clients and scheme advisors.
Oversee delivery of governance services across a portfolio of schemes and projects.
Monitor and own the scheme business plan; proactively manage deviations.
Ensure services meet internal quality standards, contractual obligations, and full compliance.
Resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
Build regional professional networks and identify new business opportunities.
Lead pitches, contribute to weekly business development calls.
Manage, mentor, and appraise team members, oversee resource allocation across assignments.
Stay current with regulatory and governance changes within pensions legislation.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must demonstrated experience in pensions management, scheme secretarial, or consultancy roles, strong technical knowledge of DB/DC schemes, governance, legislation, and regulation, excellent project and budget management skills, proven client management capability; ability to manage multiple workstreams, experience in mentoring or line management. Excellent computer, communication, and organisation skills. Also being able to work independently as well as part of a team. Hybrid working from Glasgow

Desirable Qualifications:
Trustee Toolkit qualification (or working towards it).
Professional qualifications in progress or completed (e.g. APMI, FPMI).
Experience in business development activities-pitches, events, or networking involvement
