Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Bridewell

Location: Bridewell operates a hybrid and flexible working policy; you will be required to travel to different sites on occasion.

We are looking for a confident and forward‑thinking People Business Partner to join our growing team. As a People Business Partner, you will have strong organisational skills, communicate confidently across the business and be a strong team player with a wide range of knowledge across the People function. You will support different individuals on a variety of employment relations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with managers and employees; offer practical, timely support and advice across a range of people‑issues.
  • Document everything properly and escalation when needed.
  • Play a key role in broader people initiatives; shape how we work and support our teams.
  • Manage competing priorities to deliver high‑quality outcomes across your business area with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across HR and other business functions to deliver meaningful outcomes on projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • From onboarding to engagement and well‑being, play a key role in creating exceptional employee experiences.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of key people processes like performance reviews, engagement surveys and internal events.
  • Be a go‑to expert for the systems and tools that underpin people operations; help people get the most out of them.
  • Embodies and promotes Bridewell’s values.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisation and delivery skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication; handle sensitive situations with maturity, discretion and care.
  • Curiosity and a growth mindset; CIPD Level 5 or working towards it.
  • Collaboration and team spirit; natural team player who enjoys working with others.
  • Previous HR generalist toolkit and experience across the full employment lifecycle.
  • Ability to navigate issues and challenges across the employment lifecycle.
