Location: Northampton, London, Oxford, Birmingham
Model of work: Hybrid, with an expectation to work 2 days a week from the Northampton office
Main purpose of the position: As part of a leading Financial sector key account team, the Analyst mines data to understand performance and support enhanced managerial decision-making through clear, actionable information. The analyst will be crucial to operational delivery on key projects aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery, collaborating with various teams, clients, and third-party operations.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Global Strategy Director to establish performance metrics that create meaningful insights
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for business improvement
- Create reports and presentations that clearly communicate data insights
- Mine data from existing reports and support innovative and automated reporting methods
- Coordinate pilot projects to evaluate business efficiency opportunities based on generated insights
- Define success criteria for pilots and track outcomes
- Support key meetings, such as business reviews
- Work with digital services and business intelligence teams to leverage reports and develop bespoke analyses as needed
Who you’ll work with:
- A strategy team focused on analysis-based solutions
- A financial sector account team operating in over 25 countries
- Reporting to the Global Strategy Director
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within real estate or FM sectors, with data-driven solution experience
- Proficiency in analysis techniques like cost ratios, productivity, success rates, and data modeling; knowledge of financial analysis and ROI/NPV methodologies is a plus
- Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, and similar tools
- High data literacy and the ability to connect data to real-world contexts
- Ability to link commercial strategies through market research, trend analysis, and budgeting
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related fields; an MBA is desirable
- Experience collaborating across business functions
- (Nice to have) Experience developing financial models for real estate transactions, lease pricing, and scenario analysis
