Responsibilities
- Evaluate PK/PD and exposure–response model outputs for plausibility and quantitative rigor.
- Identify non‑plausible parameter spaces, unsafe extrapolations, and high‑risk assumptions.
- Design clear model evaluation rubrics that separate credible vs. non‑credible predictions.
- Define quantitative sanity checks and failure conditions (parameter limits, curve fit quality, coverage issues).
- Provide example “gold‑standard” PK/PD fits and concise reasoning behind key modeling decisions.
Requirements
- Strong years of experience in quantitative pharmacology, PK/PD modeling, or pharmacometrics.
- Strong hands‑on experience with exposure–response, population PK, and parameter estimation.
- Proficiency with NONMEM, Monolix, or similar modeling tools.
- Ability to interpret model results for dose justification and decision‑making.
- Skilled at identifying structural issues, poor fits, and unrealistic assumptions in models.
