Responsibilities

  • Contribute to enterprise-scale Web projects as part of a large Agile team.
  • Write clean, functional object-oriented PHP code with exposure to PHP 7 or PHP 8 systems.
  • Work with Symfony (version 4/5) as the preferred framework; candidates with experience in Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP, or other MVC frameworks will also be considered.
  • Maintain and work with MySQL v8 databases.
  • Adopt a full-stack approach with solid front-end skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and ideally TypeScript.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest tech trends and contribute ideas to the team, emphasizing quality and best practices.
  • Engage in personal development with a clearly defined progression plan and regular one-to-one discussions with the hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Experience writing PHP code in a professional environment, with exposure to PHP 7/8.
  • Proficiency with Symfony (version 4/5) or strong experience with other MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, CakePHP).
  • Experience with MySQL v8.
  • Full-stack capability with strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills; TypeScript is advantageous.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to contribute meaningfully to a collaborative team environment.
